Optional components

Large tools don't ship with the app; download them on demand under Extensions → Optional components. Each package targets a specific toolkit version and is checked against its SHA-256 and a per-file manifest before installing; uninstalling leaves nothing behind.

Browser component (headless Chromium)

155.0.8059.39 · 254.2 MB

Lets Claude open web pages: screenshots, PDF export, rendered DOM, and scripted browsing with puppeteer-core — handy for testing sites you build here. It runs headless in the background; to browse yourself, the built-in browser is enough.

Blender 4.3.2 (headless compositing & rendering)

media · GPL-2.0-or-later · 4.3.2-r2 · 0.0 MB · Homepage

Runs Blender 4.3.2's headless CLI natively on device (no GUI, none needed), driven from Python (bpy): multi-layer motion graphics with compositor nodes, keyframes, alpha over, glow/blur, rendered to PNG sequences / H.264 MP4 / GIF; can also read existing video as footage, render 3D (EEVEE on the on-device Adreno GPU) and batch-process images. Blender ships no Linux arm64 build, so the engine and its dependencies are fetched from the official Debian archive on first use (~267 MB, every package verified against its SHA256, installed into the app's private storage — nothing is written to system partitions).

OpenCL component (clvk, glibc)

gpu · Apache-2.0 · 2026.10.15-r1 · 43.8 MB · Homepage

Runs OpenCL on the device's Adreno GPU for glibc (Linux arm64) programs: kernels are compiled to SPIR-V by the embedded clspv and executed on Turnip (Vulkan). The vendor's OpenCL driver is a bionic library that glibc processes cannot load, so this is the only way to get OpenCL on the glibc side (it also needs the glibc GPU component, which ships the Vulkan loader and Turnip).

GitHub CLI (gh)

dev · MIT · 2.102.0-r1 · 14.0 MB · Homepage

GitHub's official command line: pull requests, issues, releases and Actions. Once signed in, git pushes over https work too.

gnucap (circuit simulation)

eda · GPL-3.0-or-later · 20210107-4-r1 · 0.8 MB · Homepage

A second circuit simulator with its own command language (dot-prefixed commands, probes declared before the analysis). Runs transient / operating-point / DC sweep / AC analyses. Command-line batch only (no GUI; ask Claude to draw an SVG for waveforms).

Godot engine (headless run / Android export)

dev · MIT · 4.7.2-r1 · 94.0 MB · Homepage

Godot 4 game engine (Termux's bionic build): run projects headless, import assets, export a project to an Android APK. No GUI (the editor needs a display). godot-run prepares the Android SDK shim and editor settings before an export; the official 1.28 GB export templates are not bundled - install them on demand with godot-templates.

GPU info & benchmarks (clinfo / vkmark / clpeak)

gpu · CC0-1.0 AND GPL-3.0-or-later AND GPL-2.0-or-later · 3.1.26.09.26-r1 · 5.5 MB · Homepage

GPU info and benchmarks: clinfo lists OpenCL devices, vkmark runs Vulkan benchmarks, clpeak measures OpenCL peak compute and bandwidth. All off-screen, no display needed, with a gpu-bench wrapper that guards against silent wrong results.

GPU driver (Qualcomm Adreno)

gpu · MIT · 26.2.5-r1 · 8.8 MB · Homepage

Puts the on-device Adreno GPU to work from the command line: the open-source Turnip Vulkan 1.4 driver plus Mesa zink for OpenGL/GLES. No root, per-process only, nothing on the system partition is touched. Runs Vulkan compute and rendering (llama.cpp, vkmark, …), offscreen OpenGL without a display server, and lets OpenCL programs use the vendor driver.

GPU driver (glibc / Linux arm64)

gpu · MIT · 24.2.6-r1 · 72.7 MB · Homepage

Puts the on-device Adreno GPU to work from glibc (Linux arm64) programs: a glibc-side Turnip (Vulkan 1.3, Mesa 24.2 from the termux-glibc repo) plus the lgpu-run wrapper, which wires up the glibc runtime, the ICD and launches through ld-linux. For Debian-packaged and other glibc binaries; OpenGL via zink (bring your own glibc Mesa), OpenCL via clvk.

Icarus Verilog (simulation)

eda · GPL-2.0-or-later · 13.0-r2 · 2.3 MB · Homepage

Verilog simulation: compile RTL with a testbench, run it, read $display output, dump VCD waveforms and render them as timing diagrams. Command-line batch only (no GUI).

LibreOffice (headless)

office · MPL-2.0 AND LGPL-3.0 · 26.8.1.1-r1 · 205.6 MB · Homepage

Headless LibreOffice: converts Office documents (docx / xlsx / pptx / odt / ods / fodt …) to PDF and other formats. No GUI, command line conversion only.

LilyPond (music engraving)

media · GPL-3.0-or-later · 2.26.0-r2 · 5.9 MB · Homepage

Music notation from plain text: a .ly file is engraved into a publication-grade PDF, or PNG / SVG / MIDI. Multiple voices, lyrics, chord diagrams, drum notation and early music are supported. No GUI, and none is needed — the score is plain text, so you edit a note and re-engrave; the PDF opens in the app's viewer. Includes lilypond-book (embed scores in LaTeX/HTML), musicxml2ly / midi2ly / abc2ly (import other formats into .ly) and convert-ly (upgrade older syntax).

llama.cpp (local LLM inference)

ai · MIT · 0.6.0-r2 · 18.1 MB · Homepage

Run LLMs locally: command-line inference, tokens/s, and an OpenAI-compatible local API server. CPU and Vulkan backends. Models are not bundled — bring your own GGUF.

Music production toolchain (MIDI to audio, synthesis, mastering)

media · LGPL-2.1-or-later AND GPL-3.0-or-later AND GPL-2.0-only AND LicenseRef-GeneralUser-GS-2.0 · 2.6.1-r2 · 72.7 MB · Homepage

Turns written music into audio you can listen to — and lets the model inspect its own output. Four things: (1) fluidsynth renders MIDI to WAV through the bundled GeneralUser GS bank (GM, 128 instruments plus drum kits); (2) SuperCollider synthesises sounds from scratch and writes algorithmic pieces (NRT offline rendering — no sound card, no realtime); (3) sox does the mastering pass: trim, join, fades, normalise, time-stretch, encode to mp3/ogg; (4) aubio analyses — pitch, beats and onsets, to check the result is in tune and in time. Everything is headless and command-line driven. Together with the lilypond component this is the full chain: .ly score to PDF + MIDI, then to audio, then mastered.

ngspice (circuit simulation)

eda · BSD-3-Clause AND LGPL-2.1-only · 47-r1 · 3.2 MB · Homepage

SPICE circuit simulation: write a netlist and run DC / transient / AC / noise / operating-point analyses, read the numbers. Command-line batch only (no GUI; ask Claude to draw an SVG for waveforms).

OpenSCAD (script modelling)

cad · GPL-2.0-only · 2021.01-r1 · 4.8 MB · Homepage

3D models from code: write a .scad script and export STL / OFF / AMF / CSG or 2D DXF / SVG for 3D printing or other CAD tools. Ships the MCAD library (screws, gears, bearings, boxes). Headless build: no GUI, and no PNG export.

Yosys (Verilog synthesis)

eda · ISC · 0.70-r3 · 28.3 MB · Homepage

Verilog / SystemVerilog synthesis and formal: synthesise RTL to a gate-level netlist, report resource usage, write netlists, and run equivalence and SAT checks. Command-line batch only (no GUI).

The mirrored indexes are byte-for-byte copies of the ones on GitHub, updated only after the server verifies their ed25519 signatures. The app verifies the signature again on its own, so you don't need to trust the mirror.
